Rose Valley Trekking Morocco: a hike that presents no great physical difficulty. This is also an opportunity to walk with friends or with your children to discover the wealth and cultural traditions of the Berber south central High Atlas. Green valley’s (the Dades valley and the Mgoun) in an arid and dry landscape, Berber villages along the river, beautiful Kasbah with its beautiful architecture, terraced gardens, forests oleanders fields of roses, walnut, fig and gorges.

The Morocco Rose Valley Trek is a 5-day trek that takes you through the stunning scenery of the Dades and Roses Valleys. You’ll hike through lush green valleys, past towering palm groves, and over snow-capped mountains. You’ll also visit traditional Berber villages and learn about the local culture.
Day 1: Marrakech
After arriving in Marrakech, you will be received by our staff and check in at the hotel/riad, before spending the night there.
Day 2: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Valley of roses.
Transfer by road via Tizi n’ Tichka (2260 meters) to Ouarzazate, the Moroccan Hollywood, driving through spectacular landscapes and different colors of the High Atlas Mountains. Then continuation to roses valley, we arrive at the village of Ait Ihia (1400m), meeting point with the muleteers and starting point of our hike, after loading our luggage, we go through this great village and a vast plateau towards M’goun. Dinner and Overnight in the Camp at Timkkit (1500 meters).
Day 3: Timkkit1500m – Akka n’asskar – Timassinine 1800m.
After half an hour walk on the flat, we climb to the pass of « Tifidy » at 1823m, then we descend slightly to do Aasskar Akka, lunch on the waterfront in the shade of oleander. Afternoon, we cross a desert landscape passing by few small gardens. Dinner and Overnight in the Camp at Timassinine.
Day 4: Timassinine 1800m – Gorges Agouti – Lhout 1700m.
We cross the Djbel « Anchouch », then we descend on the small valley of Ait Hamd passing by amazing villages of Imzil and Rbat, lunch at the entrance to the Agouti gorges, then we walk along the river to reach the beautiful villages of agouti and Lhout with its kasbah ( to cross the gorges you need a hiking sandals). Dinner and Overnight in the Camp near the Lhout village.
Day 5: lhout 1700m – boutaghrar 1500m.
We continue our hiking, through the gardens and villages of Ait Hamd valley, to reach the M’goun’s river ( a hiking sandals is badly needed also for this step), we follow the valley until the large village of Boutaghrar, have lunch, afternoon is optional, we can go up a hillside to enjoy nice views of the village and mgoun valley. Dinner and Overnight in a lodge.
Day 6: Boutaghrar 1500m Hdida Taberkachte 1400m.
We follow the Mgoun valley where we meet some villagers working in their fields, passing also by the beautiful villages of interesting architecture, lunch in Hdida village, then walk along irrigation canals and between the gardens to the village of Tabarkachte. Dinner and Overnight in Gite.
Day 7: Tabarkachte – Ouarzazate – Kasbah Talouat – Marrakech.
We leave roses valley to Ait benhaddou via Ouarzazate, then we continue along the beautiful valley of ounila with its Berber villages, stop for lunch in Telouat village, Visit the famous Kasbah of Glawi , then we reach Marrakesh by Tizi n’ Tichka. Overnight at the Hotel or Riad.
Day 8: Transfer to airport.
According to your flight times you will be transferred to the airport by your guide, who will also assist you with the paper work formalities before you board your flight out. Fly back to your destination with sweet memories of Morocco!

The tour starts at 09.00am:
Accompanied by a guide, leave the city behind and head south towards the region known as the Cradle of Malbec. Set amongst gentle hills and overlooked . Shortly after leaving the city, we join Chacras’s winding road, following the famous curves until we arrive at the main square.
